We had a great experience renting the Britax DualFix car seat. The delivery and return process was excellent and very convenient — we were met at the airport where the seat was handed over to us, which made travelling with a child so much easier. Originally I rented a baby seat from our car rental company, but on arrival it was a cheap plastic seat which could not be fixed securely. So as a last minute option I contacted AGU and they saved our holiday. The baby seat had isofix and was comfortable for our 6 month old. They also meet you at the airport on arrival & departure, so it was very convenient. The communication was great and they helped us pick the right seat. Definitely a much better option compared to using the car rental services.

How do I place an order?

How does delivery work, and is there a charge?

Delivery and collection are free — no hidden fees. How it works depends on what you rent:

Highchairs & small items — delivered to your accommodation in Funchal or the airport area
Baby carriers — collected from our pick-up point near the airport or in Funchal
Strollers & travel cots — collect from our pick-up point, or we deliver straight to Funchal

Can you deliver and collect at a time that suits us?

Yes – whether that’s straight after you land or on your last morning before checkout. Tell us your arrival and departure times when booking and we’ll work around them.

How can I pay?

Card, bank transfer or cash — whichever suits you.

One exception: if you’re collecting a baby carrier in Funchal, we ask for prepayment to confirm the booking.

Is a deposit required?

Yes — a fully refundable €50 per item, returned in full as soon as the equipment comes back in good condition.

What if the equipment isn't quite right for us?

We’ll swap it. Get in touch and we’ll arrange an exchange as quickly as we can — no charge, no fuss.

Is the equipment clean and well maintained?

Every item is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between rentals, and we renew the fleet regularly so nothing arrives worn out.
